 Our nursery offers spacious, purpose-built facilities that give children plenty of room to learn and play. As one of the larger nurseries in the area, we provide a welcoming environment with dedicated spaces for different age groups and stages of development. We are also proud of our large outdoor area, where children enjoy daily opportunities for fresh air, physical activity, and outdoor learning that supports their confidence, wellbeing, and development.
 We also have access to Moseley Private Park, giving children additional opportunities to explore nature and enjoy wider outdoor experiences that support their development and curiosity.

We place the highest priority on the safety and wellbeing of every child in our care, and we are proud to have additional life-saving equipment available on site. Our nursery is equipped with a defibrillator, ensuring staff can respond quickly and effectively in the event of a medical emergency. In addition, we have introduced an anti-choking device as part of our commitment to enhancing child safety and emergency preparedness.

All staff receive regular training in paediatric first aid and emergency procedures, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared to act swiftly should the need arise. These measures form part of our wider safeguarding approach, helping to provide reassurance to families that their children are cared for in a safe, well-equipped, and highly responsive environment.

We offer a wide range of flexible session options designed to support the diverse needs of families. This includes access to government-funded early education hours, helping to ensure that high-quality childcare is accessible and affordable for eligible families. Alongside this, we provide flexible booking patterns to accommodate different working schedules, whether full-time, part-time, or term-time arrangements.

For children accessing funded places, we also offer the option of additional services such as freshly prepared meals and lunches. These optional charges apply only to families using funded hours, allowing parents to choose what best suits their child’s needs and family budget. This ensures families have full transparency and control over any additional costs, while still benefiting from a consistent and supportive nursery routine throughout the day.

 Using Technology to Keep Families Connected and Children Safe
We make use of modern technology to enhance safety, security, and communication within our nursery. Our setting is supported by CCTV throughout the building, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for all children and staff. We also operate a biometric entry system, allowing authorised parents and carers to safely and securely access the building while ensuring robust safeguarding procedures are in place.

In addition, we use the Banana Moon app, which enables families to stay closely connected with their child’s day. Through the app, parents can receive regular updates on their child’s activities, learning, and development, as well as communicate directly with our team. This helps to strengthen the home-nursery partnership and ensures parents feel informed, reassured, and involved in their child’s early years journey.

At our nursery, we follow the Banana Moon Early Learning Development Programme, which is based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) but adapted to provide a more personalised approach for each child. We believe that children learn best when they are actively leading their own play and exploration, and our staff carefully observe, support, and extend their learning to help them make meaningful progress at their own pace.

Alongside our curriculum, we place a strong focus on wellbeing for children, families, and staff.
